On August 8th, AAPSU and Dear Asian Youth collaborated to hold a discussion on California’s Proposition 16, a resolution to “allow college admissions and government contracting decisions [to] focus on race and gender diversity” by reversing Proposition 209. Currently, Proposition 209 prohibits race as a factor in college admissions in California.

This webinar discussed the importance of affirmative action, debunked common myths, identified action items, and initiated a crucial discussion on race-based college admissions.
